Hollywood Beach Latin Festival

Every year, the Hollywood Beach Latin Festival comes to Hollywood Beach, Florida to celebrate Latin culture in Broward County and the rest of South Florida.  This popular event showcases Latin culture with both traditional and folkloric music on two stages, dancing, food, theatre, arts and crafts, a health court and children's activities.   Best of all the event is FREE. 

This year the event is taking place on September 19, 2010 starting at 11am and going all day long.  

Now in it's 17th year, the event draws an estimated crowd of 50,000 and grows bigger each and every year. Location this year is from Michigan Street north to Garfield Street, along the 2.2 mile Hollywood Boardwalk.

Talent this year includes Fulanito, Orquesta Brava, Tony Swing y Su Orquesta, DJ Luandy, Didier Hernandez y su Orquesta, and more. 

Some of the goals of this great event include:

• Benefit the young with scholarships.
• Give toys to children on Christmas.
• Assist Hispanic single mothers with the down payment to their first home.
