City of Fort Lauderdale New Year's Eve Countdown

Looking for something to do this New Year's Eve?? Come down to Downtown Fort Lauderdale Friday, December 31, 2010 and join the festivities which all be going on from 3pm - 3am the following morning.

It's always a good time and it's sure to be this year with all the great activities and live music that they have lined up for you, oh yeah, and its free. This is a no brainer, and they even have fireworks!!

Hours: 3pm - 3am

Location: SW 2nd Street between SW 2nd Avenue and SW 5th Avenue

Family Activities: 3pm - 8pm

Activities Include:

• 3pm to 7pm: inflatables, face painting
• 4pm to 8pm: DJ with music, games, contests, line dancing
• 7pm: Early Ball Lighting and kids countdown
• Music begins at 8pm on the main (west) stage
• 8pm to 9:15pm: Big City Dogs
• 9:30pm to 1am: Viva Classic Rock Band
• Music begins at 7:30pm on the east stage
• 7:30pm to 9:30pm/12:30am to 2:30am: The Druids
• 11:59pm to 12:03am: Countdown, ball lighting, and fireworks
